The hood is highly elastic, thin and flexible with a smooth surface. It encloses the ears and stretches over the horse's face like a mask. The seams are elastic for the greatest possible compliance, and positioned so that pressure on nerves and muscle attachments is minimised.
Our Welltex® technology gives the material the ability to absorb and return the horse's body heat in the form of beneficial infrared energy (FIR). This can stimulate blood flow in the head and facial muscles and reduce tension.
